A luxurious gem cut out from a single board of high-quality "Yamazakura" with attention to the ears and wood grain.
In addition, we dared to recreate the top plate by joining the cracks together using a technique called “tearing”, which is actually used.
After carefully polishing the top plate, finely adjust the entire surface including the ears with a chisel. Furthermore, in order to make it drip-proof, we finished it with two coats of urethane resin coating, similar to the method used for general tables.
German-made domino joints are used for the top plate and leg joints to increase accuracy and joint strength. The legs can be removed, making it easy to carry and store.
This work is a complete one-of-a-kind piece that does not have two shapes and patterns. We gave each piece a name. There is only one of each, so we recommend purchasing your favorite work early.
